On June 11, 2012, 27-year-old Demetres Hyman was shot and killed outside a residence on Jessie Street in Jacksonville, Florida. He was found near the scene and was pronounced dead upon police arrival. At the time of the incident, police reported that a suspect might have fled in a silver vehicle.
