In the early morning hours of June 1, 2024, a violent altercation in Holyoke, Massachusetts, claimed the life of 31-year-old David Rivera of Springfield. The incident, which unfolded around 2:00 a.m. in the vicinity of the 400 block of High Street, also resulted in another man suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
