On December 12, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in rural Jefferson County, Indiana, near the city of Madison. Emergency personnel responded to a house fire in the 1600 block of East Telegraph Hill Road around 4:00 pm. Upon arrival, first responders found the house engulfed in flames and discovered the bodies of four individuals inside the burning structure.
