On January 11, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Avon, Indiana, resulting in the deaths of two young men, including 20-year-old Patrick Day from Avon. The incident took place on Glensford Drive in the Park Place area, where officers from the Avon Police Department were called around 7:30 p.m. in response to a shooting.
