On February 18, 2024, a shooting incident occurred on the northwest side of Indianapolis, resulting in the death of 26-year-old Bryant Melton Jr. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a report of shots fired in the 5700 block of Little Creek Drive, near West 56th Street and Moller Road, around 5:40 a.m..
