On January 15, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Des Plaines, Illinois, resulting in the death of 16-year-old Justyce Broadway-Williams. The shooting took place around 9:30 p.m. in the 1300-block of Perry Street, a residential area just a quarter mile away from the Des Plaines police station.
