Erik Esquivel, an 18-year-old male, was tragically shot multiple times on April 22, 2021, while sitting in his red Honda sedan in the 9600 block of Greenwood Road, in unincorporated Maine Township. He was taken to Lutheran General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Erik had recently moved to Maine Township from Rogers Park after being shot there in November 2020.
