On May 27, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at a house party in unincorporated Bourbonnais, Illinois. The victim, 23-year-old Michael O. Godinez from Clifton, Illinois, was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds to his chest area. The incident happened in the 1100 block of Coyote Run, where Kankakee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 4:30 a.m..
