John Wesley "Wes" Anderson, a 78-year-old resident of rural Kenney, Illinois, was fatally shot in a violent incident that occurred on a Sunday. The shooting took place at approximately 3:23 p.m. at a location on 635 Kenney Road in Kenney, a village about 30 minutes south of Bloomington, Illinois.

Anderson was identified as one of the two victims in the shooting. The other victim, Kigan Antonio Munoz, who is Anderson's grandson and the son of the suspect, was shot multiple times but was ...
