Kentrell Williams, a 24-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on the morning of September 24, 2023, in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 10:35 a.m. while Williams was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 5500 block of South Union Avenue. According to reports, two suspects in a gray vehicle approached his car and opened fire, striking him multiple times. The gunfire was fatal, and Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
