Kejuan Carter, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 1, 2022, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the early morning hours at the Sonesta ES Suites hotel located in the Streeterville neighborhood. According to reports, a group of women had rented a room at the hotel and allowed a group of men to enter through an emergency door.
