On February 11, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in South Holland, Illinois, where 30-year-old Ann Turner and 83-year-old James Boyd were found dead inside a home. The bodies were discovered by a family member in a residence located in the 900 block of East 161st Street.

Both Ann Turner and James Boyd suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and their deaths have been ruled as homicides by the medical examiner.
