On April 19, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at SWAY BAR, located in the 9400 block of Irving Park Road in Schiller Park, Illinois, near O'Hare airport. The victim, identified as Jonathan Vallejo, a 38-year-old man from River Grove, Illinois, was shot around 10:40 p.m..
When police officers arrived at the scene, they found Vallejo with gunshot wounds and immediately performed life-saving measures. Despite these efforts, Vallejo was pronounced dead at Lutheran General Hospital.
