Darnell Shanks, a 19-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot on April 26, 2024, in the Englewood neighborhood. The incident occurred around the 200 block of West 72nd Street, where Darnell was suddenly targeted by one or more suspects who opened fire on him.
