Przemek Bogdanowicz, a 46-year-old man from Chicago, died on July 5, 2024, due to gun violence in Glenwood, Illinois. The incident occurred when Bogdanowicz was shot in his car on the 400 block of Longwood Drive in Glenwood.
The investigation revealed that a 15-year-old child from Glenwood was involved in the murder. According to police, the teenager lured Bogdanowicz to the meeting location through social media, falsely identifying himself as an adult during their communications over
messaging apps.
Following the shooting, Bogdanowicz was taken to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The 15-year-old suspect was subsequently charged with first-degree murder in connection with Bogdanowicz's death.
