Trumaine Hatchett, an 18-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot on July 9, 2024. The incident occurred inside his home in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Police responded to a call at a residence in the 8500 block of South Parnell around 10:56 p.m. and found Trumaine with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
