The incident unfolded when officers from the Normal Police Department were dispersing a large gathering that had moved from a park to the Circle K parking lot. At approximately 3:42 AM, officers heard multiple gunshots and quickly responded to the nearby area, where they found the two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders provided immediate medical assistance, and both victims were transported to local hospitals. Randall Glass was later pronounced dead due to multiple gunshot wounds, while the second victim remains in critical condition.
