Joseph Gardner, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on April 25, 2018, in Normal, Illinois. His death was the result of a violent altercation involving Christopher Harrison, who was 17 years old at the time. The incident occurred at a Normal apartment complex where Gardner and another victim, Reginald Hart Jr., attempted to rob Harrison of his money, drugs, and guns.
