In the spring of 2023, a life was tragically cut short in southwest Atlanta following a dispute that escalated to gunfire. On the evening of Friday, May 12, 2023, 35-year-old DeMarcus Bolton was shot and killed. The incident occurred in the 2000 block of Sylvan Road, near a small shopping complex just north of Langford Parkway.
