On October 16, 2023, Gwinnett County Police responded to a "person shot" call at a home on Allen Street in Buford, Georgia, shortly before 3 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a man shot inside a parked vehicle. The victim, identified as 35-year-old Quentin Cantrell of Buford, was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died due to his injuries.
