In the pre-dawn hours of October 16, 2023, the quiet of a Buford, Georgia neighborhood was shattered by gunfire. Responding to a 'person shot' call on Allen Street shortly before 3 a.m., Gwinnett County Police discovered a man inside a parked vehicle who had been shot. The man, identified as 35-year-old Quentin Jeremiah Cantrell, was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
