On December 9, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Sandy Springs, Georgia, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Aden Stone. The incident took place at the Waters Edge Apartments located at 8601 Roberts Drive. Sandy Springs Police Department officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 3:17 p.m. after receiving a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, they found Aden Stone with a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite life-saving efforts by bystanders, Stone died at the scene.
