Jerry Salazar, a 19-year-old male from Sandy Springs, Georgia, tragically lost his life on February 11, 2021, in a shooting incident at the Eva Apartments located on Hammond Drive. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 2 a.m., when shots were fired inside one of the apartment units. Alongside Jerry Salazar, another victim, 20-year-old Ariel Collazo from Norcross, Georgia, was also killed. A third individual was injured but survived the attack.
