On December 29, 2023, 18-year-old Shania Kelis Green of Lawrenceville, Georgia, was tragically killed by a stray bullet while attending a house party on Chance Lane in Grayson. The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m., when multiple shots were fired outside the residence, one of which penetrated the home and fatally struck Shania as she sat inside. Authorities believe the gunfire was unrelated to the party, and Shania was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.
