In the quiet town of Barnesville, Georgia, a family dispute on the morning of January 30, 2024, ended in the tragic death of 64-year-old Charles Ogletree, a Black/African American male. Lamar County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call about a shooting at a residence on Johnstonville Road around 8:10 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Charles Ogletree deceased at the scene from a gunshot wound.
