Death by Force

Deondrey Florence, 41, male, was found shot to death late on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in the 200 block of Southland Drive in Barnesville, Georgia. A 911 caller reported shots fired around 11:45 p.m., and responding officers discovered Florence deceased at the scene. The Barnesville Police Department requested assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which opened a homicide probe and said the case would be turned over to the Towaliga District Attorney's Office once complete.
