On April 21, 2024, Gregory Campbell, a 24-year-old resident of Barrow Drive in Augusta, Georgia, was fatally shot at the Benson Apartments in Hephzibah, Georgia. The incident occurred at 304 Williamsburg Drive, a location that has previously seen a murder in 2020 when 30-year-old Joshua Hadnot was killed.
