In a quiet Marietta, Georgia neighborhood on the evening of Sunday, April 28, 2024, a heated argument escalated into a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 48-year-old Tavoris Danta Johnson. A Black/African American male, Johnson was found suffering from several gunshot wounds in the 400 block of Lorene Drive. First responders arrived at the scene just after 7:30 p.m. and transported him to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
