In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Fitzgerald, Georgia, a night that should have been filled with the joy and laughter of a high school prom ended in unimaginable tragedy. Fifteen-year-old Chyell Paulk, a female, was fatally shot on April 28, 2024, at an after-prom party. Paulk, an honor roll student and cheerleader at Irwin County High School, was remembered for her loving spirit and a smile that could light up a room.
