Death by Force

On April 28, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred at an after-prom party in Fitzgerald, Georgia, resulting in the death of 15-year-old Chyell Paulk. The incident took place around 1:10 a.m. in the 300 block of East Pine Street. Chyell, a freshman and a member of the basketball cheerleading squad at Irwin County High School, was pronounced dead at the hospital after being fatally shot.
