On September 4, 2024, Christina Irimie, a 53-year-old math teacher at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, was tragically killed in a mass shooting at the school. Along with Irimie, three other victims lost their lives: fellow math teacher Richard "Ricky" Aspinwall, 39, and two 14-year-old students, Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo.
