Dorothy Elaine Hess, a 72-year-old white female, was tragically found dead on May 20, 2019, in her home in Winder, Georgia. She and her husband, 70-year-old Willard Ron Hess, were discovered by their teenage grandson, who immediately called 911 upon finding their bodies. The couple was well-known and beloved in their neighborhood, described by neighbors as extremely caring and sweet people. Dorothy was last seen alive by a neighbor on the previous Thursday, cutting her grass.
