In the summer of 2023, a shooting in Southeast Washington, D.C. claimed the life of 34-year-old Pamela Taylor. On the evening of Friday, July 14, Taylor, a resident of Northeast D.C., was in the 100 block of Atlantic Street, Southeast, when she was struck by gunfire. Gravely wounded, she sought immediate help at a nearby fire station.
