On February 17, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Apopka, Florida, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Redd Nelson. The Orange County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 1300 block of Highland Avenue, near East 15th Street, just before 10 a.m. that Friday morning.
