Denson L. Hudson, a 48-year-old police officer from Apopka, Florida, tragically lost his life on March 18, 1941. On that fateful day, Officer Hudson, along with Police Chief Fred L. Risener, was conducting routine patrol duties when they noticed an open window at the Standard Oil plant on South Forest Avenue.
