Michael Andrew Watson, a 36-year-old man, was fatally shot on March 1, 2023, in Cocoa, Florida. The incident occurred in a Brevard County home where Watson was one of four victims killed by Domenico Claude Gigante.
Gigante, who was 36 years old at the time, is accused of murdering his daughter Kiera Terwilliger, 15, his ex-girlfriend Constance Marie Terwilliger, 35, Constance's mother Glenda Mae Terwilliger, 63, and Michael Andrew Watson. The motive behind the killings was reportedly Gigante's strained relationship with his daughter and her family.
According to the investigation, Gigante had expressed his frustrations to his roommate on February 28, stating that he intended to go to the family's home and kill them. On March 1, at around 1:55 a.m., a child from the household contacted a family member via Facetime to report that the parents were dead. Upon arriving at the scene, the family member found the four victims deceased, while two other children in the home were unharmed.
Surveillance footage and Ring camera recordings played a crucial role in the investigation. The footage showed Gigante entering his truck with what appeared to be a gun, entering the driveway of the victims' home at 1:18 a.m., and gunshots being heard a few minutes later. Gigante was seen leaving the scene at 1:23 a.m. and returning to his home in Rockledge at 1:41 a.m.
Domenico Claude Gigante was arrested and is currently facing four counts of first-degree premeditated murder. He remains in Brevard County jail pending trial.
