Marlon Cleveland Jarvis Jr., a 19-year-old from Pensacola, Florida, tragically passed away on July 20, 2023. His death was the result of a shooting incident that occurred in the 3000-block of Creighton Road, near O'Riley's Uptown Tavern.
The investigation into his death led to the indictment of 22-year-old Trevoir Vanderhall Jr. by an Escambia County Grand Jury. Vanderhall Jr. was charged with First Degree Premeditated Murder and Aggravated Assault in connection with Jarvis's death.
Following the issuance of a warrant for his arrest, Vanderhall Jr. was taken into custody on July 27, 2023, in Coweta County, Georgia. He was subsequently extradited and is currently being held in Escambia County Jail without bond. His arraignment was scheduled for September 27, 2023.
