James R. Hurlock, Jr., passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 53 in Jupiter, Florida. He was an avid fisherman and a successful real estate investor, known for his keen eye for opportunities and strategic investments. Hurlock loved spending his free time on the water, often fishing in Lake Okeechobee or catching lobster in the Florida Keys. He also enjoyed hosting gatherings at his home and spending time with friends and family.
Hurlock is survived by his sister, Pam Hurlock, his mother, Maeza Chiu, and his stepfather, Bob Munton, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was remembered for his great sense of humor, generosity, and the positive impact he had on those whose lives he touched.
Professionally, Hurlock built a prosperous career through his dedication and hard work in real estate investing. His friends and family will deeply miss him, and his memory will be celebrated through the many fond memories and contributions he made to their lives.
