Summary based on 4 sources
Anthony Dennis, a 36-year-old resident of Oviedo, Florida, was fatally shot on September 14, 2023, in Oakland Park, Florida. The incident occurred near the 3000 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard, close to the Oakland Park Flea Market where rappers Sexyy Red and Sukihana were filming a music video.

At the time of the shooting, Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) deputies were already in the area responding to a noise disturbance call related to the music video shoot. Upon hearing multiple gunshots, the deputies rushed to the source of the sound and found Anthony Dennis dead at the scene. Another victim, who was not named, was taken to a hospital and survived the attack.

Witnesses reported that several individuals approached the victims just before the shooting and then fled in a dark-colored vehicle. BSO deputies and the BSO Burglary Apprehension Team detectives later pulled over a car matching the suspect vehicle's description, but the occupants bailed out and were detained. However, these individuals were arrested on unrelated charges and are not currently linked to the fatal shooting.

The BSO has emphasized that the shooting and the noise complaint call related to the music video are believed to be separate incidents. Investigators have released video footage of a dark-colored sedan, which is thought to be involved in the killing, driving through a nearby shopping plaza.

The Broward Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest in this case. Anyone with information is urged to contact BSO Homicide Detective John Curcio or submit a tip through the SaferWatch app or Broward Crime Stoppers. Tips can be provided anonymously by calling 954-493-TIPS (8477). As of the current date, the case remains unsolved.
