Smyley Fontaine Charles, a 22-year-old resident of the Orlando area, was fatally shot on October 10, 2023. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. at a home in the 1300 block of Santa Anita Street in Pine Hills, Orange County, Florida.

Charles was found suffering from gunshot wounds along with a 30-year-old woman, Shameka Candy Filidor. Both victims were taken to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the double fatal shooting a ...
