Tony Ross III, a 24-year-old, was fatally shot on October 14, 2023, at an apartment complex in Orange Park, Florida. The incident occurred during a drug deal that escalated into a deadly armed robbery.

According to the investigation by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Ross' murder was directly linked to illegal drug activity and gun violence. Seven months after the incident, on May 2024, two men, 20-year-old Rida Hicks and 30-year-old Kevin Bush, were arrested and charged with murder ...
