On November 9, 2023, the Leon County Sheriff's Office responded to a call in the 400 block of Cedar Hill Road in northern Leon County, Tallahassee, Florida. Upon arrival, deputies found the lifeless body of an adult male near the boat landing area of Carr Lake. The victim was later identified as 22-year-old Artez Marquis Moore.
