On September 29, 2024, Daniel Navarrete, a 26-year-old Hispanic male from Tallahassee, Florida, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The event occurred at a shopping center on Apalachee Parkway and marked the second fatal shooting in the city that weekend. Daniel Navarrete's death was a significant loss to his family and community.
