On December 20, 2023, 18-year-old Antwan Delvinere Hampton was fatally shot in the Little Haiti neighborhood’s Little River area of Miami, Florida. Police officers found him lying on the front lawn at 6847 NW 2 Court after receiving a Shot Spotter alert at approximately 9 p.m. Hampton was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where he died about two hours later.
