On December 25, 2023, 40-year-old Quaavon LaShawn Ellis tragically lost his life in a shooting incident in Pompano Beach, Florida. The Broward Sheriff's Office reported that around 8:40 p.m., deputies responded to a convenience store at 401 Northwest 27th Avenue, where they found Ellis and another individual, Brandon McNair, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
