Kevon Chapman, a 23-year-old resident of Lauderhill, Florida, was fatally shot in the early hours of Christmas Day, December 25, 2023. The incident occurred in the 2400 block of Northwest 8th Avenue in unincorporated Broward County. Deputies responded to a ShotSpotter alert just after 12:30 a.m. and found Chapman suffering from gunshot wounds.
