On Friday, April 5, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at the Speedway gas station located at 9520 South Orange Blossom Trail in Orange County, Florida. Deputies responded to the scene around 9:20 p.m. and found a man in his 30s who had been shot. The victim, identified as 36-year-old Carlos Henry Bethel, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
