On April 13, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at a Chevron gas station located at 1701 NW 54 St. in Liberty City, Miami. Shamun Shaukat, a 42-year-old employee of the gas station, was fatally shot along with another employee, 51-year-old Shahbaz Hussain. The shooting also left a third individual, 57-year-old Elijah Shorter, critically injured.
