On June 1, 2024, a double homicide occurred at the Trio at Encore apartments in Tampa, Florida, resulting in the deaths of Eugenia Craig-Webb, 60, and Barry Singleton, 60, of Memphis, Tennessee. The incident took place in the afternoon when police responded to a 911 call about two people who had been shot.
