Kenneth Eugene Riley, a 25-year-old from Miami, Florida, was one of the victims in a series of homicides reported in Miami-Dade County in June 2024. On the night of June 5, 2024, Riley and another individual, Jeremy Darnell Peterson, were found dead in a silver Mercedes-Benz that had crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Quail Roost Drive and Southwest 113 Avenue in South Miami Heights.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m., and it was determined that both men had been shot before the car crashed. This event was part of a violent night in Miami-Dade County, where three men were killed within the same hour. The other victim, James Nicholas Mulkey, was found dead in a separate shooting in northwestern Miami-Dade, on York Street between Northwest 26 and 24 avenues in Opa-locka.
