Doris Giovanni Black, a 40-year-old woman, died in a tragic incident on September 27, 2024, in Miramar, Florida. The event was identified as a murder-suicide by the Miramar Police Department.

The incident occurred at a house in the Windsor Palms gated community, where Willie Lee Sims, a 43-year-old man, fatally shot Doris Giovanni Black before turning the gun on himself.
