On September 30, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at the Sun Vista Gardens condominium complex near the 5600 block of Rock Island Road in Tamarac, Florida. Six-year-old Odaine Hall accidentally shot himself with an unsecured firearm and was found by emergency responders with a gunshot wound. Despite their efforts, Odaine was pronounced dead at the scene.
